The 2018-2019 school year has been an exciting year at Gable Middle School. We have celebrated many accomplishments and participated in several service projects. We continue to implement the OLWEUS program as we teach our students character education and develop interpersonal skills each day. We continue to focus on our Project Based Learning initiative, and continue to see students become better critical thinkers and problem solvers throughout the year. We have established a Leadership Council which develops, leads, and carries out multiple service projects in our school. The Council gets the entire student body involved in projects while developing necessary leadership skills needed to be successful in life. Many teachers and students are benefitting from our new outdoor learning area that is now operational. This learning area was a project designed, developed and constructed by our 8th grade class of 2018. Developing leaders and critical thinkers who leave a legacy like this is just one of the many ways that the message is clear that “Greatness Begins at Gable!”
