Our district/school is helping all students develop the World Class Skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by by providing a safe, caring, and academically challenging learning environment focused on critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.  In order to meet the needs of the students and families that we serve, Paul Knox has fully implemented a thematic school of science during the 19-20 school year that focuses not only on providing a robust academic experience for all students but also an environment that is supportive and caring. As Aiken County continues to grow an become the global hub for Cyber Technology, medical, and nuclear industries, we strive to provide our students with authentic experiences to foster interest in growing economies. At Paul Knox, we have an active Cyber Patriots team, Stem team, and Future Cities team. All three of these teams competed in local and state competitions where they placed in top categories. Additionally, we provide students with exposure to the sciences, technologies, and arts through extensive offerings in our exploratory courses. We offer art, digital art, STEM, chorus, guitar, orchestra, and band in addition to a number of remediation courses and PE/ health. As we strive to provide a world-class education to all of our students, the majority of Paul Knox students are encouraged to take a high school level class before they leave Paul Knox Middle School. We currently offer IT Fundamentals, Algebra 1, Geometry, English 1, and Spanish at Paul Knox Middle School.
